In July 2013 the EU capped data roaming charges. Operators now have to impose a monthly default cut-off for data roaming, so you don’t have to worry about running up huge data roaming bills working in the EU.

  • 4GEE, T-Mobile and Orange offer their customers a £3 add-on for 100MB of roaming data per day in the EU.
  • O2 offers 15MB of data for £1.99/day in the EU.
  • Vodafone pay-as-you-go customers can opt to pay £8/day for 100MB of data in the EU.
  • Three charges as little as 45.8p per MB of data in the EU.
